That was one hell of a speech you gave at the award ceremony. Also, I think the advice you gave to all of us was inspirational and motivating! You're right; we have to take the bull by the horns and move our asses because if we wait for a green light from others, we’ll be waiting our whole lives! I agree; no matter what we want to put out there, it has to be done now, not later. I have two massive projects I've been sitting on, so I decided this year to get them out to the public. I was holding back because of the cost, but even if I had to involve my whole family, I would have to see it through until the end. Thank you, Jennifer! ❤️
"You cannot adjust what you refuse to see." This is a tough but necessary realization. Yes, there are outside reasons why we're stuck...valid reasons, not our fault, illnesses, traumas...but what is our role in keeping ourselves there...yikes. It's easier to get angry at life than to own up to our part in it. I really appreciate the times you push me out of my comfort zone. I've lived there too long. I've thanked you for this many times. You know what I'm realizing? Not many people have done that for me. Much more likely to tell me to stay where I am. Interesting. Thanks Jen!
Yes, I know you have said that many times. I guess I have a hard time digesting this one. It's difficult for me to see why it would bother anyone else if I, let's say, pushed myself to get on stage. In my head, the reason must be out of love - trying to protect me (from anxiety, overwhelm, criticism, hurt, failure?)... it's much harder to think that people don't want you to grow. Even positive change... But enough about me. Great post. Thanks for your response.

As I’ve said many times the current status works for all. When you grow that status changes and people don’t like change.
